Lagdera MP Mohamed Shidiye is asking the national government and also the county governments of Isiolo and Garissa to urgently assist families that have been displaced in the border clashes pitting the Boranas and Somalis. He was speaking to journalists in Garissa town when he visited some of the families from his constituency who have been displaced as a result of the clashes.

The clashes that broke out one week ago are reported to have left 6 people dead.
