The president of EURO 2016 Jacques Lambert says he will support his friend, Michel Platini

The president of euro 2016, Jacques Lambert, says he will support his friend, Michel Platini, more than ever after the latter failed in his bid to have his suspension from all football overturned.The former vice-president had his ban reduced from six years to four by the court of arbitration for sport, but has now stepped down from his role as UEFA president as he continues to try and clear his name.Lambert said that he was very disappointed for Platini and that his current situation means it is impossible for him to play an official role at Euro 2016.
