KANU leaders accuse Deputy President William Ruto of hoodwinking the Kalenjin community

KANU leaders led by its national chairman Gideon Moi have hinted of seeking the presidency come the 2017 general election. The leaders accused deputy president William Ruto of hoodwinking the Kalenjin community to wait until 2022. They said that the notion that Kalenjin will wait until 2022 was not the true reflection.
