Kenya Pipeline Company dispels rumours of a fuel shortage in Western Kenya

The Kenya Pipeline Company has moved in to dispel rumours of a looming fuel shortage in Western Kenya. While addressing journalists, the board chairman Jonh Ngumi noted that the situation had been contained and it had emanated from a stock pile in its Kisumu and Eldoret depots. News of the shortage had sent consumers into a state of panic triggering an artficial buyout that saw motorists rush to fuel to avoid a stock out.
