Keroche Breweries hold awards with the aim of boosting Young Entrepreneurs
18th April, 2016
Keroche breweries have set aside 20 million shillings towards boosting entrepreneurs from all sectors in Kenya in the 2nd season of the Keroche foundation academy. The mentorship program targets entrepreneurs aged 21 to 35 years, who have tax compliant businesses of at least 3 years, making an annual turnover of 10 million shillings and has at least 5 permanent employees. According to the patron of Keroche, the foundation is the manufacturers’ way of giving back to society through connecting captains of industry with upcoming entrepreneurs. The second season comes a year after the brewery received a 5 billion loan to expand into a 1 million hectare litter brewery and expand its market share to 20%.
