The Independent Policing Oversight Authority – IPOA has today feted 64 police officers for outstanding service in the force. IPOA says awarding professional and efficient police officers will contribute towards fulfilling of the authority’s mandate of professionalizing policing and providing civilian oversight over the work of the national police service as enshrined in the IPOA act.
