A public service vehicle plunged into River Gura at the border of Othaya and Tetu in Nyeri County early this morning. The conductor of the matatu died on the spot and four other people were seriously injured it is believed that the driver of the matatu belonging to the 4nt sacco lost control of the vehicle and it veered off, plunging into river gura. This happened in an area that is considered to be a black spot. It is not clear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle
