Governor Hassan Joho vows to vie for presidency in 2022

ODM deputy party leader Hassan Ali Joho has declared he will be vying for presidency in 2022. Speaking at a funeral ceremony governor Joho criticized President Uhuru Kenyatta’s recent statements that presidential aspirants should wait till 2032 before making a go for the top seat. He further expressed confidence that the cord coalition will be the winning party in the coming 2017 general elections adding that the party is strengthening unity between coastal leaders to that effect. The coast leader has recently been on the receiving end of what the party has called political machinations where the government withdrew part of his security team with interior CS Joseph Nkaissery asking he hands in his firearms. Joho’s announcement comes hot on the heels of cord’s moses wetangula expected presidential bid launch.
