Kajiado county politicians have been blamed over last week incident in which two people were killed over Imbirikani land dispute. Politicians were accused of inciting locals leading to the deaths of one Maasai Moran and a police officer during a confrontation over the imbirikani land. Some members of the community are opposed to leasing of the 5,000 acre ranch to Bamburi Cement Company. The kajiado south residents also held a peaceful demo to protest the leasing of the ranch. Kajiado governor David Nkedianye has called for action against all inciters.
