The newly appointed Kenya national examinations council has held its first meeting this morning. Former university of Nairobi vice chancellor Prof George Magoha was appointed to act as the chairman of the board on interim basis. The appointment was announced by education CS Dr Fred Matiangi Shortly after he dissolved the previous board following complaints over examination irregularities. Several former officials have been grilled by police.
