Opposition cord on the other hand also made its presence felt in rallies held to campaign for its candidate Willy Mtengo. Led by ODM secretary General Ababu Namwamba and governors Ali Joho and Amason Kingi they accused their jubilee rivals of using government resources and personnel in their campaigns.
