KWS rangers hunt for six lions that escaped the National Park

The hunt for at least six lions that escaped from the Nairobi National Park is still on. The lions are said to have strayed from the park into the areas around Lang’ata, Kibera and the southern by pass area. The search started at around 4 am this morning after some members of the public informed kws of spotting about 4 lions. The Kenya Wildlife Service has deployed ground and aerial personnel in the search. The hunt which took a break at 11:30 am resumes this evening at about 4 pm.
