Former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru has denied any involvement in the 791 million shillings National Youth Service scam following fresh allegations contained in a sworn affidavit. Waiguru has dismissed as a smear campaign the allegations by businesswoman Josephine Kabura Irungu who links her to the scam. Political Scientist Mutahi Ngunyi who is also named by Kabura has termed the affidavit as a lie, denying that he was ever in a meeting with her and Waiguru.
