Kenya women parliamentarians gathered in Nairobi to discuss gender equality and women empowerment and how to achieve full women’s participation in politics. East Africa’s biggest economy is lagging behind 28 African countries when it comes to political and business gender equality. With the 2/3rd gender principle that provides supportive legislation Kenya needs to improve promoting gender equality and women empowerment.
