Security Analyst Mwendwa Mbijiwe to contest for Meru gubernatorial seat

Security analyst Mwenda Mbijiwe has joined the race to unseat Meru governor Peter Munya. Mbijiwe who is also the CEO of a Nairobi based security consultancy firm joins Meru senator Kiraitu Murungi in the race to kick out Munya who is also the current chair of the council of governors. The race for Meru governorship has threatened to split the Meru vote ahead of the 2017 general election.
