Parliamentary Accounts Committee to probe corruption in the Judiciary

1st February, 2016

Nairobi governor Evans Kidero has once again defended himself against bribery claims pitting Supreme Court Judge Philip Tunoi. The county chief who was speaking in Sori Town on Sunday where he attended a funds-drive for a local church, said he never knew Judge Tunoi and that he is a person he only saw on TV."Ata huyo wakili wanasema nilimpa pesa nimemuona tu kwa TV (I don't even know the lawyer whom they claim facilitated the bribery and he too is a person I first saw on TV)," he said.
