Sex workers in Nanyuki protest the killing of their colleague

Commercial sex workers in Nanyuki town took to the streets of nanyuki for the better part of thursday to protest what they termed as an infringement on their basic human rights. This after one of their own fridah wambui was found dead in a lodging in nanyuki. The close to a hundred sex workers sought the audience with the nanyuki county government officials over their plight. Ktn’s senior reporter carol nderi spoke to some of the commercial sex workers who gave their personal accounts of why they had immersed themselves in the trade and the challenges they face.
