Regular activities in Ngangarithi area of Nyeri County were disrupted when hundreds of bodaboda operators took to the streets to demonstrate against the bad conditions of the ngangarithi-kandara road.The bodaboda operators decried the state of the road saying it was affecting their business and the road was practically impassable during wet seasons. The maintenance costs of servicing their motor cycles after operating on the bad roads was too high for them. They want the Nyeri county government to listen to their pleas and repair the roads especially in the larger Ngangarithi area.
