Police closing in on Mombasa Most Wanted terror suspects

Two terror suspects are on the run after slipping through a police dragnet in King'orani, Mombasa Monday evening. Mombasa police are said to be in panic following the disappearance of the suspect who were identified as Mahmoud Salim Mohamed and his accomplice Hussein Omar Said and who are all wanted for terror related issues. When police raided the suspects’ house they were not there. Police sources say security agents decided to raid the suspect's house after receiving intelligence from a suspect detained in Wajir last month. The suspect arrested in Wajir has since been brought to Mombasa and is under interrogation. The officers recovered a G3 and M4 rifles, 345 bullets, 15 cellphones and a laptop. Police spokesman George Kinoti confirmed the raid and the recovery of the deadly arsenal, saying the operation happened following intelligence they were planning a terror attack.
