United States condemn Paul Kagame's third term bid

The United States has hit out at Rwandan president Paul Kagame's decision to run for a third term, saying it was "deeply disappointed" and concerned by the move. The us says president Kagame had ignored a historic opportunity to strengthen the democratic institutions the Rwandan people have laboured so hard to establish. Kagame declared on Friday that he will seek a third term in next year’s polls.
