Police in Busia arrested a man reported to have hacked his wife to death over a phone call from an unidentified person. The woman is said to have received the phone call at around 9pm but refused to inform the husband the identity of the caller and his reasons for calling. This is reported to have provoked the man who then killed her using a machete.
