Section of Western Kenya leaders urge constituents to join the Jubilee Party
22nd December, 2015
A section of Western Kenya leaders allied to the jubilee coalition have declared their support for the dissolution of small parties…and further rallied support for the jubilee alliance party…speaking in Shitoto,Mumias East Subcounty , area MP Benjamin Washiali urged constituents to heed the call made by jubilee ‘s co-principals. Former Lurambi MP and Western Kenya TNA coordinator, Manyala Keya likened the call to have two strong parties to Britain’s and USA’s democracy…adding that Kenya should embrace a two party system…western Kenya remains one of the largest voting blocs; largely a sought-after swing vote…however in 2013, the region largely voted for cord…pundits argue though that the call for two parties may not go well with the Amani coalition that has actively been recruiting members in the region .
