Namanga residents hold protests over poor road conditions

Locals and sand harvesters have paralysed transport on Nairobi – Namanga road for close to five hours today in protest over poor conditions of a road linking Kajiado town to Mashuuru. The international highway is important as it links Kenya and Tanzania, enables tourists to access Amboseli national park. It also enables movement of livestock to various parts of Nairobi city and its suburbs.
