Former Nairobi Mayor and one-time Makadara member of parliament Dick Wathika is dead.Wathika passed away last night at the Karen hospital according to people close to him. It’s understood that Wathika fell ill and checked himself into hospital where he died. He was elected Nairobi mayor in July 2004, and was re-elected in 2006.wathika also served as Makadara Member of Parliament in 2007 to 2010 before his election was nullified.
