30th November, 2015
Pokot council of elders led by their chairman John Mwok has appealed to Kenyans to continue praying for the ICC Kenyan cases to be terminated. Mwok who was accompanied by other elders as well as the Pokot south MP David Pkosing added that the cases should be looked at a fresh and that it was wrong for only the two Kenyans deputy president William Ruto and Joshua Sang to be sacrificed for the atrocities of 2007/08. Pkosing who was the head of Kenyan delegation to assembly of state parties urged the Hague based court to heed the elders and drop the cases in totality saying the case had lost meaning.
