Russian officials say plane that crashed over Egypt may have broken up midair at high altitude

Russian officials now say the plane that crashed over Egypt two days ago, may have broken up midair at high altitude before it crashed. A top aviation official told the country’s state television that the debris was spread over a large area, suggesting high impact and high altitude. All 224 passengers on board the flight that was headed back to Russia perished.
