The national taskforce on community policing has exuded confidence that the progress towards full implementation of the Nyumba Kumi initiative is on the right track. Speaking during a status conference with heads of parastatals at the Kenya school of government, the chair of the taskforce Joseph Kaguthi has revealed that more than 213,000 community policing units called “Usalama wa Msingi clusters” have been established across the country.
