Former Deputy IG Grace Kaindi challenges her retirement in court

8th September, 2015

Immediate former Deputy Inspector General of Police Grace Kaindi has now moved to High Court to challenge her retirement from the National Police Service. Filing her suit through a certificate of urgency, Kaindi argues that the said decision was never put on paper, amounting to a roadside declaration-against the law. She says she assumed office in 2013 and was given a five year contract that is to end in 2018.she says she also learnt about her transfer through the media instead of the required procedure. Kaindi wants the high court to quash the decision and stop her transfer to civil service as ambassador.
