Kerugoya health workers protest over its government insensitivity on health sector’s needs

5th September, 2015

In the show of force and determination Kerugoya health workers led by the Kenya National Union of Nurses’ officials marched to the county assembly offices and came just short of bringing down the gate when they were denied entry. The workers later proceeded to Kerugoya town causing a major traffic snarl up along the busy Kerugoya/Karatina road. They have condemned the county assembly for what they termed as its insensitivity toward the county’s health sector’s needs.
