Water services minister Eugene Wamalwa says with the onset of the El-nino rains expected early next month, government is taking measures to minimize damage that may be caused by the heavy rains. The government of japan in conjunction with the ministry is to dig several dams in different parts of the country to harvest the waters. The minister was speaking in Nairobi after meeting Japanese delegation.
