Former Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Gladys Boss Shollei this morning appeared before the Nairobi Chief Magistrates Court to take a plea over abuse of office charges preferred against her. Shollei who is charged alongside six others is facing accusations of abuse of office and flouting procurement procedures in the purchase of a residence for the Chief Justice. She denied all the charges and was released on a 600,000 shilling cash bail. The court will set a hearing date for the case on the 7th of September.
