East African leaders are studying a draft peace agreement on South Sudan before the warring parties can sign it. The international lead mediator Seyoum Mesfin gave the factions until today to sign the deal without room for extension. The two sides are yet to agree on power sharing. East African leaders last night held a five hour meeting ahead of the signing.
