Nakuru health workers have called off their four day strike after signing a deal with the county government. The deal was signed during a meeting between union representatives and county government officials. Those returning to work are nurses, but doctors are however still on strike. The strike has seen many patients in public hospitals suffer with some of them detained inside the public facilities because they had not paid their bills.
