9th August, 2015

Residents of Shamu area in Kwale county were treated to a supremacy battle pitting Kwale women’s representative Zainab Chidzuga and governor Salim Mvurya. Chidzuga who was the chief guest at a fundraiser for Shamu football club was surprised to find that there was no seat reserved for her but instead there were seats for Mvurya and his deputy Fatuma Achani. The MP who was forced to seat at a tent could not hide her anger, walking off in a huff when the governor stood up to give his speech.
