The High Court in Kampala grilled chief magistrate Kobusheshe Francis over the 2010 Lugogo bombing and his alleged involvement in the case. He is alleged to have made an extra judicial statement outside his jurisdiction. The July 2010 Kampala attacks were suicide bombings carried out against crowds watching a screening of the 2010 FIFA World Cup final match at two locations in Kamapa. The attacks left 74 dead and 70 injured.
