Kenyan Government to deploy more troops in Mandera County

Security continues to be a threat in Mandera County as the government says it will beef up security by deploying more troops to track down pockets of Al-Shabaab militants allegedly roaming villages in north eastern region this according to area regional commissioner Amb Mohamud Saleh. Amb Saleh said that the government is aware of the changing tact by the militants who have invaded villages along the border where they are allegedly spreading their doctrine this as members of parliament from Mandera County have committed themselves to support the government in the war against the Al-Shabaab menace in the region.
