Police in Eldoret town have unearthed a fertilizer syndicate and recovered over 40 bags of national cereals and produce board branded “can” fertilizer. Two suspects, a man and a woman were allegedly found repackaging government-subsidized fertilizer and selling it to unsuspecting farmers at exorbitant prices. The fertilizer, which retails at 1,500 shillings at the depots was being sold at 2500 shillings.
