TNA officials in Nyeri County have announced the formation of an interim Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) committee. TNA county chairman, Thuo Mathenge, said the move to unify the parties was to support efforts of President Uhuru Kenyatta and deputy president William Ruto in marrying the two parties. Thuo was elected as JAP committee chairman while Helen Wambui the URP county chairperson takes the vice chair slot. Recently, JAP reloaded lobby group held a recruitment drive in Nyeri town.
