A blame game ensued yesterday during the Madaraka day celebrations in Iten as leaders from Elgeyo Marakwet County argued over the destruction of forests in the area by saw millers. This comes as the residents cry foul over the alleged wanton destruction of Kachebutwa forests by loggers which is the area’s water catchment.
