KeNHA is set to take action on trucks found to bypass designated weighbridges across the country.

Already the company that manages weighbridges, SGS, has forwarded a list to the authority detailing how truck drivers had devised innovative ways to defeat technology deployed at the stations. On average 15 trucks out of the 2000 that ply the Mombasa, Nairobi Malaba route flout load limits on a daily basis and were the most likely to avoid the weighbridge.
