Residents of Chemarmar village in Uasin Gishu county are counting loses…they claim wild animals invaded their farm killing several sheep and seriously injuring others. The residents woke up to scenes of mutilated animals spread across their farms this morning. The sheep estimated to be worth over a hundred thousand Kenyan shillings is believed to have been attacked by a pack of wild dogs. They say the wild animals have been recking havoc in the area for quite some time and now want the Kenya wildlife service officials to remove the marauding canines before they experience further loss of livestock.
