Dedan Kimathi students embark on campaign to raise fees for needy students

The Dedan Kimathi University student body has embarked on raising 100 million shillings that will go towards paying fees for needy students. In a kitty dubbed the dekut endowment fund ,the more than three hundred students will climb Mt. Kenya right to its peak in a bid to raise the money.the venture is also aimed at fostering close cohesion among the students of Dedan Kimathi university. They say the Mt Kenya climbing expedition is a journey of faith, dedication, resoluteness, discipline and hope. Deputy governor of Nyeri Samuel Wamathai launched the endowment fund.
