NTS suspends and bans 11 companies from supplying speed governors Following a report by the national transport and safety authority NTS that has suspended 11 companies and banned others from supplying speed governors to public vehicles in Kenya, a group called speed governors and road safety association has come out to defend its position. The group that deals with fitting, developing and designing speed governors in Kenya is defending its governors that are supplied by one of the major companies in the country omata speed governors. The members are asking the NTSA to effect a random check and ascertain whether their speed governors are fit for the vehicles on the road.
