A political storm over supremacy is gaining ground in the coast region with Kilifi north member of parliament Gideon Mungaro facing a political siege. A group of coast member of parliaments are threatening to remove Gideon Mung’aro as the chairman of the coast parliamentary group. A section of elected leaders from Mombasa have accused him of undermining the unity of coastal people for allegedly failing to support the Jumuia ya pwani counties forum. Another section has come out to support him.
