Dairy Sector pushes for low milk prices

Dairy sector players want the value added tax placed on animal feeds scrapped arguing this was to blame for the high cost of milk in the country. The chairman of the New Co-Operative Creamaries Matu Wamae appealed to treasury to re-look the matter and cushion consumers from shouldering rising costs of milk.
