Murang'a Health Workers Strike
30th December, 2014
A health workers strike in Murang’a County has now entered its second week as the workers claim their demands are yet to be met.
The health workers were employed four years ago under the Economic Stimulus Programme and have been agitating for absorption to permanent and pensionable terms. Speaking outside the county offices, the workers expressed their disappointment after a meeting with the Public Service Board which they claim bore no fruit.
