Farmers from Kisii County have a reason to smile following the flagging off of the first export consignment of avocado oil from the avocado processing plant in Kisii. The 30 metric tonnes of cosmetic oil is designated for Mexico. The factory which has been in operation for the last two months was established by the Kisii county government in partnership with two foreign investors.
