Hundreds of motorists in Kitengela were arrested last evening for failing to wear their safety belts. The licenses of those arrested were confiscated. Offenders had to pay cash bail of Ksh 500 and will appear at Mavoko law courts today. The operation carried out by the National Transport Safety Authority aims to promote road safety during this festive season.
