Reproductive Health: KEMEP and NCP recognized journalists for their role in educating the masses

The Kenya media network on population and development KEMEP, in conjunction with the National Council on Population have recognized journalists in the country for their role in educating the masses. More than 20 journalists in both print and broadcast media have been awarded for their excellence in educating Kenyans on development issues, family planning, population, human health, gender and female genital mutilation among others. KTN’s Saida Swaleh and head of camera unit Francis Githae were among those who received awards.
