25th November, 2014

Kenya airways has suspended direct flights from Nairobi to New Delhi effective 24th November. The company says the move is part of its rationalization plans to cut operating costs which hit 42.1 billion shillings in six months of operating. The airline which posted a drop in its profitability will be seeking to take on new measures to cut the ballooning staff and fuel costs. In a statement from the national carrier, all guests affected by the cancellation will be rerouted via the Mumbai flights in partnership with air India and jet airways.
